Hi,
I'm trying to create a database to support different languages,
but I think I'm missing something.
I'm using firebird 2.0
I'm doing test with ISO8859_2 charset
I've created a database with or without the charset in the create
statement.
Added a table with 1 column with ISO8859_2 charset (also tryed with
other charset).
Made an insert with polish characters from console (also tested from a
test app), and on the db I found ANSI characters.
I've tryed to use SET NAMES before connecting to db, same result.
????
On the firebird book it seems so simple, but I don't know what to do.
Any idea?
My application will work with D2009 + dbGo >> Firebird ODBC >> Firebird 2
