What are the advantages of moving from current version of Firebird
2.0.4 to the 2.1.x version (instead of moving to 2.0.5) ?
I would like to make a decision of whether to upgrade my applications
running on Firebird 2.0.4 to the next maintenance release 2.0.5 or to
jump up to the next version 2.1.x.
Are there any significant advantages in terms of database running
speed, functionality, and ease and speed of backups/restore after
upgrading to version 2.1.x ?

My applications are written in Delphi 7.
What are the likely pitfalls/reprogramming issues to expect after
moving from FB version 2.0.4 to 2.1.x ?
