Hi all,
According to the things I've found on the net and the Firebird
documentation the Firebird DB can store unicode characters if the
Charset is set to NONE. The security DB I'm working with has Charset
of NONE but I can't get GSEC or any of my DB tools to accept a new
user with a Cyrillic user name.
The documentation is a little vague on this point so I thought I'd ask
the experts :)
I've already looked at message 79925 which states there isn't in
Firebird 1.5, but is there support for Non-Ascii usernames and
passwords in any current release of Firebird, and if not is there any
planned support for such things in the future?
Thanks!
