First of all, make sure you have

\intl\fbintl.dll
\intl\fbintl.conf

placed on your fb root dir (se README_embedded.txt at \doc dir for details)


Than, if still having problems, I'm not sure but try copying msvc*.dll stuf to your SYSTEM32 folder or even installing vccrt8_Win32.msi that comes with FB server installs.

BTW, are you using fbembed.dll or renaming it as gds32.dll ?
