Hello,
due to a report from a customer, I upgraded a working Fb 2.0.4
installation on Windows to Fb 2.1.1, and suddenly I cannot connect
though connection strings such as
localhost:alias_name
Here's what I get:
SQL Message : -902
Unsuccessful execution caused by a system error that precludes
successful execution of subsequent statements
Engine Code : 335544344
Engine Message :
I/O error for file "ndgest"
Error while trying to open file
The system cannot find the file specified.
Using either
localhost:path
or
alias_name
or
path
works. Switching back to 2.0.4 works as well. I am testing with
FlameRobin and ISQL. Couldn't find any pointers in the release notes
or on the Internet. I must be missing something obvious. Does anyone
have a clue?
Ciao
