I must be stupid!

I am trying to use the Firebird .Net provider to display the results
of a simple query in a DataGridView and I can't figure out how to make
it work.

Can someone point me to a step by step guide that shows me which
controls to use and how to tie them together. I am completely lost in
the maze of FBCommand, FBDataAdapter, Dataset and DataGridView
documentation. The docs for the Firebird .Net provider assume a level
of knowledge of Visual Studio that I simple do not possess.
