Hello, all,
I just updated my Firebird installation from 2.1.0 to 2.1.1 on Windows
XP Professional (SuperServer, both versions), and after reading the
release notes I tried to activate Forced Writes for the security
database using gfix.
The command to do this should be
gfix -write sync <path>\security2.fdb -user sysdba -password
<sysdba-password>
Right? But I get this error message:
no permission for direct access to security database
C:\PROGRAMME\FIREBIRD\FIREBIRD_2_1\SECURITY2.FDB
Same message for Windows user with and without admin rights.
Nothing and nobody connected to any firebird database at the moment of
trying this.
What's wrong here?
Thank you,
Herta
