Hi,
Has anybody experience using nbackup lock and unlock (merge) feature ?
I have used this feature for some weeks now and i have had already
2 instances of database records corrupted.
At first i looked at the attached san disks but there is not
an error mentioned by the linux scsi drivers (No Linux errors at all).
I use fb classic 2.0.3 on Linux , the database is 28 GB.
My process is:
lock database , make backup to tape, unlock database (so called merge
delta)
For now i will just stop using nbackup and try to figure out how to
reproduce the corruption ( it is not hapening on smaller databases
like for example 4 GB)
Regards,
Derryck
