Lately we've had a few clients where the Firebird server won't start
automatically when the machine boots up, even though it's set to
Automatic in Services. They CAN start the service manually.
This is Firebird 1.0, running under Windows XP. One possible
commonality that we've noticed is that these users have installed
Norton 360 on their machines, though we're not 100% sure that this is
the case with all of them.
Does anyone know of this issue, and hopefully a solution?
