I have an application (exe) working via a shared drive to several clients.
Been working fine in the setup for several years.
exe is sitting adjacent to fbclient.dll
Recently updated the fbclient.dll from 2.0.4 to 2.1
Now several clients raise the exception firebird client not installed.
Several clients still work fine.
This is an SOE so I find this a tough one.
Are there any runtime library dependencies for fbclient.dll (2.1) which did
not exist for fbclient (2.0.4)?
