Thanks Anderson and Fidel.

Well it was a very nice bug! :)
Because it worked and in fact my domain got changed to numeric(10,4).
In FB 2.1 the only way I found to do this was to change system tables
RDB$FIELDS directly.

This is was bug fixed in Fb 2.1. Helen has answered this question on a
recent message entited "Firebird 2.1" from "Tiberiu Horvath". Search for it
to get the details.
