Just upgraded to FB2.1 on one server from 2.03
Comparing it with 1.5 and 2.03, initial connection is taking approx 5
seconds compared with sub 1 sec previously.
Should I be looking at something particular which can cause this? Or is it
something I need to get used to?
The performance after initial connection is as I would expect, but 5 seconds
to connect seems wrong.
There is no improvement on subsequent disconnects/connects so it's not any
initial caching issue.
I'm not using integrated authentication - just the normal sysdba login on
windows server 2000
