Just what I wanted to hear.
we determine the server name for the host. So to our users setting up a
DB is really simple. It would be easy to add the port stuff in a future
product version but unfortunately we have someone who wants to use the
current version with two FB versions. Or next version is still in
testing. However as you say from an ongoing perspective it might be
best to put it in the connection string. Perhaps the FB 1.5 software
has this functionality, I will check.
