Hi,
I install Firebird 1.5.5 SuperServer on Fedora Core 8 and the service
is turn on by default: chkconfig firebird on
When the Fedora Core 8 machine restart, the machine will hang will
starting Fedora Core 8. However, if I turn off the firebird service:
chkconfig firebird off, the machine will start as usual.
To overcome this issue temporary, I have to manually start the
Firebird service manually everytime I restart the machine: service
firebird start.
Does anyone has any ideas what's wrong here?
Thank you.
Chau Chee Yang.
