I'm getting the message 'sort error: not enough memory' when running a
particular query. I've never seen this one before. Everything in the
configuration file relating to sorting and memory are the defaults.
There is plenty of room in the /tmp directory and everywhere else.
There is plenty of free memory. The same query on a desktop PC
(returning only 4300 rows) doesn't have this problem.
How should I begin to debug this?
The super server version is LI-V6.3.1.4481 Firebird 1.5 on Redhat.
