ha ha... it is not life dependent. I have extract the delphi5 demo
databse from disk. Still, using the Firebird server, i'm not able to
open them within D2007 demo projects.
As for database tool i'm using Firebid Maestro version 7.3. I'm not
able to truly open any D5 demo databases - i got bunch of dynamic sql
errors (two gdb database were available in d5: employee and mastsql).
Thanks for the info.

is the perfect one for this as it appears to be an out-of-date version
you are using.

the "developer" version that comes with RS 2007 should be good enough.

version, you could pick up the databases off them. The "unknown" in
all that is whether, in their eventual efforts to upgrade those demo
databases, Codegear also altered the metadata and/or upgraded the demo
apps to use features available only in IB 7+.....

Firebird-compatible ODS and offers to give you copies. *We* can't
offer to do it and make the databases available, for copyright reasons.
