As a result I cannot post the exact wording of the error message as you did. However the message clearly stated that the role name was already in use. ThanksLin

But you never told us the actual error message.

FB does not have anything like "role name is already in use",

I think it was this one



Statement failed, SQLCODE = -607

unsuccessful metadata update

-user name TTOOL_USER could not be used for SQL role



right ?
