Thanks Mr. Tonies,
1. With FlameRobin there is no error message and it seems to work fine.
2. With Firebird Maestro there is a "create database profile wizard" wizard that when arrive to the window named "Available Databases" introduces none available database - simply am empty pane.
3. The path is similar in both tools - "C:\Program Files\Firebird\Firebird_2_1\examples\empbuild\EMPLOYEE.FDB"
Is there any advice?
Regards

Easy: fix it.
Now for a serious answer: you could start by telling us
what the error message is, your connect string in both
tools etc...
