Hello All,
in Delphi 7 i do it the ff way
<--Start-->
// set ibDatabase.database to the required name , protocol, Dialect
// Login parameters
With self.IBDatabase Do // an schlepptop anpassen
Begin
params.Clear;
Params.Add('user ''sysdba''');
Params.Add('password ''masterkey''');
End; // with db do
If Not fileexists('c:\data\database.FDB') Then
Begin
self.IbDatabase.CreateDatabase;
self.IbDatabase.Connected := True;
self.IbTransaction.StartTransaction;
self.IbQuery.SQL.Clear; // journal
self.IbQuery.sql.add('CREATE DOMAIN TBOOL AS VARCHAR(5);');
self.ibquery.execsql;
// many more sql statements creating the database
