Hi,
I'm running firebird clasic server 1.5 in a Linux Debian Etch 4.0
since two years with no problem.
This server is the back end to a dynamic web site.
Yesterday, no one could loggin and I found the following messages
in /var/log/firebird.log ( lot of them, probably one for each attempt
to connect ):
Wed Nov 12 17:39:07 2008
Fatal lock manager error: semaphores are exhausted, errno: 11
I shut down the databases, validate them ( with no errors ), and
put them online again. The issue didn't appear any more.
The debian package is
firebird2-classic-server 1.5.3.4870-12
Thanks in advance for helping me in diagnose the problem.
