Dear firebird developers,
I'm wondering about the status of firebird2.5 and localized versions
of utf8 sorting,
in my case swedish sorting,
the swedish alfabet is (belive it or not ;-)
abc..xyzåäö
(if you can't see those three last chars, they are
html-equivs of å ä ö
)
whereas standard UCA (I belive is) something like
aåä...oö..
which messes up sorting upon utf8-fields.
If anyone have relevant information for building "customized/
localized" UCA
that would be very helpful. If I'm all wrong about the approach,
please let me know. ;-)
all the best
