as I told in a previous message, my trial and error tests has shown that the redist should be installed only with
Windows XP and Windows 2003, for all the others, Vista included, it is enough to copy the two dll's in the same folder
of the excutable and fbclient.dll, do you agree?

Anyway, where are the guidelines that you have mentioned?
