Hi all,
I have a demo version of my software bundled with Embedded Firebird
2.1.1. Now a customer installed that on an XP machine with no Service
Pack (or an old SP).
I gave the vccrt8_Win32.msi file from the Firebird 2.1.1 Zip file to
the customer, but he was unable to run it because of his MSI Installer
being too old.
What can I do to overcome such situations?
I expect hell on earth when I deliver a larger number of demo versions
to people that just want to install a simple software. Why can't
fbclient.dll just run on any Windows like it did before? I don't get
over it.
Regards
Stefan
