Hi,

I have a system that was developed to run in windows 2000. The system
is currently running in about 40 customers running various versions of
Windows from 2000, XP and XP SP2.

The Database is firebird 1.5.43 and has been running with no reported
problems for the last two years.

Last month one of my customers purchased new workstations with Windows
Vista business and installed my application on it. Several days later
they called, reporting some data loss. They have reported that
whenever they process transactions in the system log out of the system
and switch off the P.c for the night, the next day on loggin in they
noticed that the transactions posted the previous day were lost.

This only happens with Vista P.c. I have tried everything I know from
re-insatlling the Database to running it as embedded, still no joy.

Has anyone noticed such data losses from using firebird 1.5.43 on
Windows Vista?
