found some 3-year old posts in here without a definitive followup).

Here goes -- is Firebird 2.0.3 supported on OpenBSD 4.[012]?

The only POSIX buildfiles in the sourcetree for *BSD are for the Net
and Free flavors. Yet the sourceforge site states ``All BSD'' and
lists OpenBSD among the platforms.
