I know this has been asked lots of times before - I've checked the answers
and still cant get it to work :-(

WIN2K Pro client being used to setup embedded demo

c:\ppdemo\app.exe
c:\ppdemo\gds32.dll (renamed embedded version 1.5.3.4870)
c:\ppdemo\firebird.conf
c:\ppdemo\udf\ib_udf.dll

firebird.conf has
UdfAccess = Restrict UDF

when I run 'select substr('abcdefg',2,2) from rdb$database' in ibexpert I
get
'Access to UDF library "ib_udf.DLL" is denied by server administrator.'

No file access restrictions as far as I can tell.

Any ideas please?
