Subject FB 1.54: Transactions count exceeded.
Author Iain Brown
Hi,
I am running Firbeird 1.54 on opensuse linux 10.2. Open of my
databases has corrupted (I assume) and give the following error when
I attempt to access it:

Error reading user master Resource Exception. Implementation limit
exceeded
Transactions count exceeded. Perform backup and restore to make
database operable again
Reason: Implementation limit exceeded

If I then try to run gbak, I get the error:

gbak: ERROR: invalid transaction handle (expecting explicit
transaction start).

Gfix doesn't seem to detect anything wrong and gstat gives the
following output:

I have also tried copying the file to my local windows machine (and
upgrading to 1.5.5) but have the same results.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance
