I am getting errors from gbak telling me that it can't open c:\program
files\firebird\firebird_1_5\firebird.msg. In addition, gbak doesn't
seem to be able to open any files at all. I have checked all of the
file permissions and it all seems fine. I can open the file with
another program (wordpad). This is running on Windows 2003 SP2. I
have used filemon in an attempt to see what is going on and I get the
following whenever gbak attempts to open a file:
Time Process Request
10:35:13 AM gbak.exe:6136 IRP_MJ_CREATE
Path
C:\Program Files\Firebird\Firebird_1_5\firebird.msg
Result Other
REPARSE Options: Open Access: All
Does anyone have any idea what the REPARSE result means? I don't get
this result when opening the file with wordpad.
