OK, suspected that this is the case...

Now should I file feature request on this? I know that embeded doesn't
have "real security" (ie password isn't checked when logging in) but
IMHO it is still desirable to have user managment stuff in place... ie
user might want to change the username with which s/he logs in and as
a app developer I have one special case less to worry about.
