Subject Re: [firebird-support] Best way to access Firebird from Delphi 7

there's a lot of solutions:

- BDE (depreac... uh... bannished)
- ADO/ODBC (i don't remember the toolbar name in delphi)

- IBX (by default in Dephi's components: toolbar "Interbase")
- IBO
- UIB (my "best choice") (www.progdigy.com). The main problem: no
read/write Dataset. Not yet. A french developper had made one but is not
included in UIB package. If interrested, I can send you address to get it.

Except IBO (and Delphi's licence), all are free
IBO, IBX and UIB are implementations of fbclient APIs.
