I've run into a problem installing Firebird on Vista. When I attempt
to run the 2.0.1 installer it dies and Vista reports that the
application failed to initialize.
The system is Vista Ultimate on an AMD Dual Core Turion 64. I'm not
sure if it's a 64-bit issue, a dual core issue, or a Vista issue.
