Hi all,
we have a web platform using firebird 1.5.4 on linux fedora 3
whit php4.

In firebird.log we have this log error

Database:

I/O error for file "/dati/DB.FDB"

Error while trying to write to file

Illegal seek


OR

fedora (Server) Fri Mar 30 10:19:51 2007
Database:
I/O error for file "/dati/DB.FDB"
Error while trying to write to file
Bad file descriptor



After this type of error the db crash and we have to restart firebird
service.

We are I can find a specific description of firebird's error (111,88,etc)
