I'm connected to my server through SSH and VNC. When I install Firebird
via VNC with the command 'rpm -ivh
FirebirdSS-2.0.1.12855-0.nptl.i686.rpm' the VNC session exits and the
install fails (the /opt/firebird directory is not even created).
When I install through the SSH client (while VNC is open, tunneled
through SSH) the install works, but again the VNC client dies.
Has anyone else seen this in Suse 10.2?
