Thank you for your reply. I am currently using my own Installshield
build and installing all the necessary files specified in the
Firebird release notes section. The install has worked for years
using Windows 98, 2000, Xp, 2003. There must be something additional
that needs to be added to allow it to work on Windows Vista.
