Well true enough about the alias, but then I would not be lazy ;)

The mix of DDL and DML is a run once query used to rebuild the table
from the tool IBEasy+.

The query at the end is what is used from the delphi application to
pull the information out of the datbase. So there should not be an
issue with conflicts in a transaction as IBeay+ and my application are
not designed to share it.
