It's link speed negotiation on your network cards.



Lock them all to 100MBit, full duplex. If that doesn't work, wind them back
to half duplex.



We had the exact issue here with 8 workstations. By stopping the NIC's
negotiating with the switch about which speed to run at, we fixed the
problem.



This approach was suggested earlier yesterday - did you try it?

>From what they describe, it's simply moving from screen to screen,
where each screen performs a few selects. No updates. The user
reports that it takes around 10 seconds to move to a different screen
and 60 seconds on some other screens. Every other installation has
sub-second response.

I'm using IBO v4.6B and BCB 2006 (C++).
