I want to to start testing a proto-type data-warehouse based on FB and
was wondering if there is a pre-existing tool that can be configured
and scripted to transfer data for a Progress DB using OBDC to
Firebird. This tool would have be able to maintain and keep up to
date static DW tables such as customers and then do incremental adds
for invoiced sales that does not change. It would have to support
WHERE for source data and have a scripting language to decompose array
fields in the Progress db. It would have to run as a service in
Windows or Linux and create a report log of exceptions. Anything like
this?
