Hi all,
AFAIK Firebird lacks 'encrypted authentication' feature -- that is,
username/password is sent plain text across network from client to
server -- wich in my option is bad!
Its fine to use a third-party secure tunnel (like Zebedee) when you
need all data to be encrypted, but, I think is too much when you whant
ONLY the fb usernames/passwords wich I believe is important even
on 'local' nets.
So, is this feature planned at all for next firebird versions?
Thanks for your comments,
Regards
PS. sorry for the bad english!
