Hi,

Sorry for cross posting but I dont Know in what (or both) send this
question.

I use Flamerobin (latest version) for make inserts in the tables of my
database.

I insert in a column setup like Char(2) an string like this:

'ES'

but when I retrieve the data with my client App (Python+Kinterbasdb) I
see this:

'ES '

two more free spaces, and I test it when I try to make something like
this:

x='ES'
db= [var containing the retrieving value from DB]


if x==db:
print True
else:
print False


allways return False

I use an:

FB 2.0, dialect 3, default charset UTF-8, ODS Version 11.

Any idea??
