Merry Christmas to you all,
I just got woken up by a phone-call from my boss who said that our
firebird-based application does not start anymore.
I connected to the server and tried to connect to the database. I got
the error-message "The system could not find the environment option
that was entered", which I find, well, confusing and I can't think of
any reason for it.
I killed the fbserver process, fbguard restarted it and everything was
fine, but I'd like to prevent this from happening the next time (to
save me sleep and trouble).
Has anyone experienced this before? Any hint on what it could mean or
what has gone wrong?
Regards (and a good rest of the night :-D)
