Do you have both Firebird and Interbase installed ?

GDS32.dll in system32 : which version ?

Sometimes, gds32.dll is not updated by installation because file is
used or read-only or protected, etc...

You can check if you have firebird :
in firebird\bin, type at a command prompt

instclient q g

if firebird client, you have

Installed GDS32.DLL version : 6.3.0.16780 (shared DLL count 3)

or something equivalent
