Wasn't there an undocumented table size limit of about 35GB? I'm just thinking that if this database contains one huge table of this size, then maybe it could still be an issue? What ODS and Dialect do you use?

If I remember correctly, the on disk size was 12GB, whereas the file
size was 35GB.
