Subject FB2 Xeon 2.8 Ghz 50% CPU
Author slalom91
All,

My installation of FB2 maxes out at 50% CPU under a full load. I am
looking at TaskMgr.exe and watching the fbserver.exe process. I am
assuming this is because the OS (Windows Server 2003 Enterprise) sees
the Hyperthreading module of the CPU as a second processor. My
question is:

Can tweaking the CPU affinity in the firebird.conf file provide me with
a performance gain if I set it to 3? I have a single Xeon 2.8 Ghz
processor running FB2 superserver.

Thanks.
