Hi
I am trying to shutdown a database for all current connections and new
ones. When I execute
gfix -shut -force 5 -user xxx -password yyy /xxx/zzz.gdb
I cannot make a new connection to the database, but the existing
connection continue as normal.
The software is not logged in as SYSDBA or the owner.
Am I missing a switch?
Is there a better approach to cutting all connections?
Using FB 1.5.3 Classic, Linux
Thanks
Rod
