Subject Re: [firebird-support] Norton or ZoneAlarm stopping local connection

Ed,

Is there a difference between connecting to localhost:... or to
127.0.0.1:... ?

If localhost fails and 127.0.0.1 works, maybe there is an line in
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts that prevents connections?

just a guess...

kind regards,
John
