When this happens all my attached clients (Database workbench, apache
FB connection, content clients, etc) lose their DB connection -
admittedly cause they hold the connection open the whole time - and i
need to completely restart them.

So - firstly, any ideas why the fbserver is dying up there? And
secondly, what can i do about it short of reprogramming all interfaces
to only make db connection when needed/close off db connection when idle?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks
Grant
