Hi,
I am developing a new application in Delphi, using IBExpress components. The server resides in a remote machine, and the clients access it through internet. When I try to access the server through ISQL or IBExpert, or on a local machine, it is rather fast. But when I use my application through internet, it is extremly slow. I tried to run a Performance monitor on the client, and found that this process uses a huge amount of 'I/O (other)'. Can anybody explain it to me what does it mean? And if so, how can I reduce this number?
I am using Delphi7.0, FB2.0 SuperServer.
Thanks,
SanTa
