I restored a backup, then copied the file to another machine (same
os). I could connect with one isql session fine but any additional
attempt to connect at the same time will just hang. As soon as the
first connection is closed then the next can proceed but only one
connection at a time.

this is firebird 1.5.1 classic, fedora 5
