Hi
I am ecountering some really weird problem after switching from
Firebird SS to Classic (same machine)
The server works sweet except that every morning when I start my job I
get the message below:
Unable to complete network request to host "127.0.0.1".
Failed to establish a connection.
No connection could be made because the target machine actively
refused it.
This happens every morning and all I can do is to restart the machine
completely. Restarting the Firebird service itself doesn't help! (why??)
Looking into the firebird.log file I saw the following error message
happening every day at 0:20 sharp
Guardian starting: E:\Program
Files\Firebird\Firebird_1_5\bin\fbserver.exe
GLNTSBYD32 Tue Sep 05 00:21:08 2006
INET/inet_error: listen errno = 10022
GLNTSBYD32 Tue Sep 05 00:21:08 2006
Database:
Unable to complete network request to host "glntsbyd32".
Error while listening for an incoming connection.
An invalid argument was supplied.
Looks like the guardian tries to launch another copy of firebird at
0:20. Why??
There are no tasks scheduled to run at 0:20 in the Windows Scheduler
System is Win2003 server, 2 processors, HT
Any ideas?
