Hi,
Does FB embedded function similarly to DBISAM? I have seen an application
which uses DBISAM embedded. The client machine loads the app from a mapped
drive on the server. Would normal SQL server type locking, transaction
control etc be in place? What are the disadvantages of this over the
conventional way of running a database server application like FB Super
server?
Thanks,
Dion
